Wind River Country

An Uncrowded Experience

Ranging from peaks over 13,000 feet high to colorful badlands and sagebrush desert, Wind River Country offers something for everyone. There are gold mining ghost towns and historic trails to explore, limestone cliffs to scale, and more lakes, streams and reservoirs to boat or fish than one person could visit in a lifetime. Wind River Country is also home to the Wind River Indian Reservation. And with fewer people than antelope per square mile, you are guaranteed an uncrowded experience when you come here.
